The “Right End” Hair Revolution!!

  • Sound Intriguing?
  • What Exactly Is It?
  • When Does It Happen?
  • How Can I Get a FREE Blowout? Wait Did I Say FREE?
  • And Most Importantly: Which End Is Up?

LOS ANGELES, CA… (AD) I remember being about 5 years old sitting with my Mom while she got her hair done with good old Rubin on Sunset Boulevard (it was…gosh 1978!). I sat there flipping through the pages of the salon’s copy of Playboy wondering “why are all these ladies missing their clothes?” Cut to my mom, who was busy getting her “fret on” whispering to Rubin (As if, what? A 5 year old can’t hear?) “Will Stacy have gorgeous hair when she gets older? What’s your prediction?” Of course you and I both know, he assured her in time I would, and all would be “Right” in the world. And it was! My long hair has become my signature…part of my personal statement all these years. But just about one year ago, you could have heard a pin drop in my living room when I caught a TV commercial featuring Heidi Klum. You know the one where she drops the beauty bombshell that we’ve been working at the wrong end of our hair? Wrong end of our hair? Seriously? I’ve been a beauty expert and esthetician for 14 years, and no one ever sent me the memo on this!

So what exactly is the “411” on this “911?” Turns out Unilever and Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy broke new ground in 2012 when their scientists revealed that to achieve a foundation for great hair you have to consistently nourish the scalp as opposed to the just the ends of our tresses (as the majority of us have been lead to believe over the years). Couple key facts to bear in mind:

  • 99% of hair’s natural strength and beauty comes from the scalp AND…
  • Approximately 70 million Americans feel they have scalp issues (think dryness, itchiness and/or dandruff).
  • Of those 70 million folks, only half are treating the problem.

So what Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy’s mission…over the last 365 days has been, is to get out there and educate consumers and turn the tables on this beauty conundrum. They launched last year with 6 shampoo and conditioner combinations infused with Nutrium 10. N10 is a proprietary blend of vitamins and nutrients that includes Vitamin B5, C and E along with sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils, aloe vera just to entice you with a few notable hydrating ingredients. This year they expanded the collection adding 3 new elements:

  • Damage & Color Repair 7 Day Intensive Treatment Tubes
  • Damage & Color Repair Deep Nourishing Treatment Mask
  • Frizz Control Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner.

I’ve been aggressively using…the 7 Day Treatment Tubes, and I’m loving how my hair is looking and feeling. If you want me to put my money where my mouth is, you can see my hair for yourself, live and in person because the proof is truly in the pudding. This coming Wednesday, May 1st Clear is throwing a celebration with Heidi Klum and ME, in Los Angeles and you’re invited. It’s taking place at the Grove and marks the 1 year anniversary for Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy PLUS we’ll kick off what the brand is affectionately coining the “Right End” Hair Revolution! Gang, if you’ve never been part of a Revolution, trust me on this one! Come on, lets go! Hop on this train, before it leaves the station! It’s going to be so much fun, and I would love to share the experience with you. Starting around 10A at The Grove, Heidi will be on hand to meet everyone, snap photos and I will moderate a quick group chat with her about her thoughts and experiences using this hair care over the last year. Throughout the celebration you have the ability to mug in the photo booth, get complimentary product samples and enjoy a FREE hair wash and blow dry! I know, I know a Revolution that includes a whole lot of pampering…where do I sign up for “battle?” Plus there’s one more fun opportunity that’s of enormous proportions, but I will just leave you guessing what that might be about.  Hope you’ll join us on Wednesday for this “hair raising” experience (Sorry the pun was right there for the taking ,so I went for it!)
