Stacy Cox
Often referred to as LA’s “Face Whisperer,” Stacy‘s passion for skincare humbly started in her mom’s kitchen in Van Nuys, California where at 12 years old, she was mixing custom face masks and inviting school friends over for complimentary “image updates.” She’s never met a curling iron or egg mask she doesn’t like.
Jump 10 years later to UC Irvine in Orange County, where she earned her degree in psychology and social behavior & started to wonder how she would incorporate her education into some sort of a private practice.
She gained real world job experience, post school, as an assistant production coordinator on the NBC sitcom “Caroline In The City” with Lea Thompson. And then bounced to the Miss Universe & USA Pageants as their public relations manager.
After those 2 chapters, she knew she was ready to leave the micromanaging vibes of corporate America and move into that private practice she dreamed about in college. So she enrolled in cosmetology school in 1998, and the rest is history. She hung her shingle out “Pampered People” in January 1999 and began the gratifying journey of building her own skin care practice.
26 years later, she is one of the most sought after skincare experts in Los Angeles. Her treatments have been featured in Los Angeles magazine, LA Weekly, Day Spa Magazine, Life & Style & New Beauty. Her reality show she cowrote about aspiring makeup artists “Blush” aired on the Lifetime Network. She was chosen by Cosmoprof to be a “Beauty Scout” multiple years at their Mandalay Bay annual July conference & report on the hottest trends in the beauty industry to everyone following the conference across the beauty space.
She’s appeared for many years on ABC’s “The View”, “The Dr. Oz Show, “Access Hollywood” & “Calforna Live” sharing beauty tips, fashion trends and all the hacks to look your best on a budget. In 2008 she delivered her first segment on daytime Emmy winning news broadcast KTLA. She appeared monthly on this new show from 2008 to 2022.
In 2013 she added yoga into her wellness, aging gracefully equation and got certified as an instructor for Core Power Yoga. She’s taught over 4000 classes through these years & currently teaches 6 classes per week. Check the Studio City CPY schedule for when she’s there, or come take a class at her private yoga space she developed at Stacy Cox Beauty in 2020.
For Stacy, aging is just a number and through facials, yoga, Excercise & the right home care routines… you can redefine and defy gravity intelligently and affordably.
