Did you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. So every October, I make up my own beauty BCA telethon on the KTLA Morning News and give myself roughly 5 minutes to pitch viewers 6 beauty brands retailing products that are donating anywhere between 30 to 100% of their sales to top Breast Cancer Awareness Charities across the U.S.. 6. CLINIQUE “TAKE THE DAY OFF CHALLENGE”

WHERE IS IT? It’s on Instagram again this year to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. Last year they challenged people to remove their lipstick. This year, Clinique’s challenging everyone to remove their mascara on Instagram throughout the month of October. This is my second year participating in the challenge.

WHY DO THIS CHALLENGE?

It’s so easy to get into the spirit! All you have to do is post a photo, boomerang, or video of yourself taking off your mascara on your public Instagram feed and use the hashtag #TakeTheDayOffChallenge
For every post, Clinique will donate $10 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), up to $250,000.
